Bio

Paul Pitsenbarger has served as Vice President for Autism Empowerment since 2011 and is involved with strategic planning and development. Paul is retired from 31 years at Crown Zellerbach and James River Corporation (now Georgia Pacific) where he served as Director of Timber Taxation. Paul has extensive accounting and vendor relationship management experience.

While at Crown Zellerbach, Paul volunteered serving as company advisor for Junior Achievement. He also served as a judge for the JA National Championships judging both the quality of applicant projects as well as their recordkeeping.

After retirement, Paul continued a relationship with Crown Zellerbach employees by coordinating company reunions, securing raffle donations and coordinating special events. Paul volunteered in various leadership roles with the Crown Zellerbach Golf Club for over 25 years.

After living in Mountain View, California for over 51 years, Paul and his wife Peggy relocated to Vancouver, Washington in June 2023 to be near his daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren, all autistic and/or neurodivergent.  He is enjoying quality time with them and his grandcat Zula.
