Autism Empowerment invites you to our 3rd Annual Summer Potluck Picnic and Autism Serves Kids Care Club Food Drive.
When: Sunday, August 6th, 2017
Where: Klineline Park / Salmon Creek Pond in Vancouver
Time: 11 am – 3 pm – casual, come and go as you please
Autism Empowerment has reserved both picnic shelters at Salmon Creek Park and Klineline Pond in order to host a casual and friendly summer picnic for youth, adults and families in the autism community as well as friends, professionals and allies.
This informal picnic will be potluck style. Bring a dish to share with about a dozen people. If you are selective about the kind of food you eat, we recommend bringing something you enjoy!
Our Autism Serves Kids Care Club members will also be collecting canned food donations to present to Clark County Food Bank. This is optional but greatly appreciated.
We will have tables and pop-up tents but recommend you bringing along whatever might make you comfortable at a community-style picnic. (e.g. blanket, camping chairs, water bottles, sunscreen, field games)
