 February 16th, 2013 – Dad, I’m Going in! A Story of Inspiration 

Autism and Scouting Radio welcomes Stanley, Judy and Peter Jaskiewicz. This show focuses on an article written by Stanley Jaskiewicz about the inspirational adventures he had with his son Peter at summer camp. Peter is on the autism spectrum and during this show we talk about Peter’s journey in scouting and what it has been like for both Peter and his parents. We also learn from his parents advice to other parents, scouts and scout leaders.

Guest Bio

The Jaskiewicz family lives in New York. Stanley is President of the Board of Directors of Tim Academy (, a training program for teachers of children with autism. He has published articles about autism advocacy in local and national publications.
He has also been a long time supporter of The Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Inc. (, and the Variety Club camp for children with disabilities (  He has coached in the special needs baseball program of Horsham Challenger Little League since 2005, and headed it since 2007.  (
Stanley also participated in the North Penn Special Education Council (, where he served as a Director from 2004 to 2007.  He currently serves on the Risk Management Committee of the Boy Scout Cradle of Liberty Council and on the adult leadership committee of Boy Scout Troop 303.
