What is Fred Meyer Community Rewards?

Autism Empowerment is excited to participate in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program. As a Fred Meyer shopper, you can earn donations for Autism Empowerment each time that you shop with your Fred Meyer Rewards Card. Here’s how it works:

RIGHT NOW you can link your Rewards Card online to Autism Empowerment at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards.
Once your link your Rewards card, everytime you shop at Freddy’sand use your card, you’ll be helping Autism Empowerment earn a donation from Fred Meyer.
At the end of each quarter, Fred Meyer will make a donation to participating non-profits based on their percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending of all participating Fred Meyer Community Reward organizations.

How do I link my Rewards Card to Autism Empowerment?

You can register online at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards by following a few easy steps.

Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Autism Empowerment. You can search for us by our name or by our non-profit number 90090 at www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. Then, every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you are helping Autism Empowerment earn a donation!

What if I don’t have a Fred Meyer Rewards Card?

Applications for Rewards Cards are available at all registers or the Customer Service Desk at any Fred Meyer store. You can also apply online at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards.

How much can Autism Empowerment potentially earn?

Every time you shop with your linked Rewards Card at Fred Meyer, you’re helping Autism Empowerment earn a donation. And, the more supporters who link their Rewards Cards to a non-profit, the more that non-profit could earn.

Fred Meyer will award a total of $625,000 each quarter to eligible participating organizations.
The minimum quarterly payout is $25 per organization. If an organization earns less than $25 in a quarter, Fred Meyer will hold the amount until the rebate exceeds $25 or the end of the year, whichever is first.
In 2014 and 2015 Autism Empowerment earned about $250 per quarter. Since the Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program requires re-enrollment as of June 2016, it is very important for past participants to re-enroll in order for your donation to count. In 2016 and 2017, we’ve earned about $125 per quarter. From 2018-2020, we’ve earned about $50 per quarter. Thanks for your support and consideration!

Most purchases qualify for Community Rewards, but some items are not eligible. Here are the most common:

Can I link my Rewards Card to more than one organization?

You may only link your card to one organization at a time, but you may change the organization as often as you like at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. However, we recommend changing non-profits no more than twice per year to make a bigger difference for your non-profit. (Autism Empowerment hopes of course that you will stay linked with us!)

Are there restrictions on how organizations spend the donations they receive from Community Rewards?

All proceeds from Community Rewards must be used for charitable purposes within Alaska, Idaho, Oregon or Washington.

Do I need Internet access to link my Rewards Card to an organization?

Yes, the only way to enroll in Community Rewards is at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. It takes just a minute but the good you are doing for Autism Empowerment lasts so much longer!
